At High Point University Eye Health, we value our relationships with our referring doctors and are committed to serving as an extension of your care.
When you refer a patient to us for a specialty service, our role is to evaluate and manage the specific condition or service requested. Once that care is complete, we will return the patient to your practice for ongoing comprehensive eye care.
Following the patient’s evaluation or treatment, we will provide you with a comprehensive report outlining our clinical findings, diagnosis, treatment provided, and recommendations for follow-up care. We will also communicate with you throughout the process when coordination is needed to support the best possible outcome for your patient.
Whenever possible, we will make every effort to allow you, the referring doctor, to provide any prescribed materials for the patient, including eyewear, contact lenses, or other products. Our goal is to support, not replace, the patient’s established relationship with their primary eye care provider.
We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with you and care for your patients.
